Great Lakes Chemical Corp has raised the prices of a selected range of specialty antioxidants, effective for shipments after 7th April 2003, or where contracts allow.

The company stated that pricing for specialty antioxidants has declined to a level that is no longer sustainable for the company and that the price increases are necessary if the company is to meet increasing demand.

Prices will increase as follows: a 4% increase for Anox 330; a 5% increase for Lowinox 44B25, Lowinox AH25, Lowinox CPL and Lowinox 22M46; and a 12% increase for Anox HPG and Meramid FC.

Specialty antioxidants have a wide variety of end use applications.
