Chemtura has announced a worldwide 25% price increase on its KP-140 specialty additive.

Chemtura has announced a worldwide 25% price increase on its KP-140 specialty additive, effective immediately or as contracts allow.

This price increase is necessary to keep pace with escalating global raw material and energy costs.

KP-140 acts as a plasticiser and de-airing system diluent.

It is used in floor polish applications as a leveling agent, in plastisols such as water-based adhesives, inks and paints to reduce viscosity, and in textile applications as a biodegradable, nonsilicone antifoam agent.
