Chemtura has announced worldwide price increases ranging from $0.65/kg to $1.40/kg for some of its brominated flame retardant grades effective 1st October 2005, where contracts allow.

This price increase is necessary to restore the business to reinvestment economics and to support our continued strong commitment to advocacy.
