Three more market-leading companies have joined the GTMA, including two important additions to the Metrology Section.
Three more market-leading companies have joined the GTMA, including two important additions to the Metrology Section - Bowers UK and Heidenhain GB - as well as Petford Tools, one of the country's leading toolmakers, located in the manufacturing heart of the West Mildands.
Steve White, MD of Bowers UK commented, "Bowers joined the GTMA because we share the same goal of raising the profile of the metrology industry, both here in the UK and overseas and we believe that the GTMA will be able to give us substantial support in achieving this".
For his part, Stuart Jenkins, Sales Office Manager, Heidenhain, felt membership would provide the company with an extended range of contacts with whom to develop the system solutions that clients are increasingly demanding.
GTMA Director, Julia Moore, concluded "It's really gratifying that so many firms are seeing the benefits of the range of services that the association now offers, including particularly the new 'business generator' on the GTMA portal".
