This month the GTMA has welcomed back into membership two very different companies, each of which has found significant reasons to rejoin the association Tim Plunkett, CEO of rapid prototyping and rapid product development firm 3T RPD, explained: "Over the last couple of years the GTMA has really matured as an association, becoming much more outwardly focused"

Free seminar explains aerospace supply chain
A morning seminar aimed at helping UK engineering companies participate in the aerospace supply chain has been organised by GTMA on 24th February at Warwick Manufacturing Group, Warwick University.
"We can see a real synergy between our business and what the GTMA is now trying to achieve".
Linda Rathbone, of specialist chemical etching engineering company Qualitetch, has already obtained benefits within the first few weeks of membership: "As an engineering company with a small in-house toolroom we see membership of the GTMA as a staff and business development tool".
"We were looking for effective networking, to enable our toolmakers to gain wider experience, and they have already had the opportunity to visit two GTMA members to see best practice toolmaking in action".
