Dr Tony Steels has been appointed GTMA President for a two year term, taking the place of immediate past-President, Roger Onions.

Dr Tony Steels has been appointed GTMA President for a two year term, taking the place of immediate past-President, Roger Onions.

Steels, who has been a GTMA Board member since March 2003, commented: "UK manufacturing has changed - and GTMA has changed too, in order to provide the services and support that members require for success, particularly with regard to supply chain participation, diversification and training, in all of which areas GTMA offers members significant advantages".

"As President it will be my privilege to support the interests of member companies and our industry, which is so vital for the national economy".
