Free seminar explains aerospace supply chain
A morning seminar aimed at helping UK engineering companies participate in the aerospace supply chain has been organised by GTMA on 24th February at Warwick Manufacturing Group, Warwick University.
Phillips, who has been interested in engineering since the age of 16, attained his BSc Hons in engineering with management in 2004, having written a dissertation on process improvement based on his experience at Kodak, where he spent 15 months of his four year degree course.
In his spare time Phillips is a keen mountain biker and has also completed the three peaks challenge in under 24 hours as a charity fund-raising activity.
Julia Moore, GTMA CEO, comments: "Scott's appointment will enable us to provide members with information on new technical developments even more quickly".
"With so much R and D activity currently being undertaken it is really difficult for UK engineering companies at the sharp end to stay up to date".
"Scott will help us get the relevant information to members in a way that is really useful to them".
