Roboloop tackles heavy-duty transfers
The Roboloop system combines the benefits of a precision tracked guideway with high accuracy rack and pinion drive and high load carrying capabilities.
The Gull Wing system is ideal for use with progressive or line-dies on presses with limited access, while the ETR series provides through-the-window transfer rails for use with even the heaviest tonnage production presses.
Both variants incorporate electronic interlocking to the press and hands-free, quick die change capabilities to suit short run as well as high volume production applications.
Each system can be retrofitted to existing press machinery and is supported by a wide range of de-stacking, loading and unloading equipment that can be integrated into fully automated production lines - to ensure maximum return on customers' press equipment investments.
"Gull Wing and ETR systems are employed throughout the automotive sector by major OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers," says Gudel Lineartec's joint Managing Director, Gary Ottley.
"Companies such as Ford, General Motors and BMW are already customers of ours, so the Rapindex products provide a perfect fit with our existing modular-based component handling solutions.
I am confident that these latest extensions to our press equipment range will enable us to significantly increase sales in the important sheet metal working sector over coming months.".
