Complementing the availability of its free 360-page product selection guides, the new facility enables engineers to download Gudel component models directly to their desktops using industry-standard DXF for two-axis layouts or Iges and Step for 3D layouts, ready for immediate inclusion in their own product designs and assemblies.
Information is available on the company's full range of linear and drive technology components for machine tool, automation and special machine building applications, including precision drive pinions, racks, rollers, carriages and guideway products.
Gudel's matched drive pinions and straight or helical cut rack units are ideal for installations requiring high speed, high acceleration or accurate positioning of components weighing up to several hundred kilograms.
Steel racks are available in precision cut, precision cut and hardened, or hardened and ground variants capable of withstanding loads up to 50kN.
Stainless steel alternatives and a variety of special finishes are also offered to combat aggressive or corrosive operating environments.
Gudel's heavy duty plain and Vee rollers and guideways complement the company's rack and pinion drive components.
A selection of ultra low backlash worm gear and bevel drive units is also available - enabling users to engineer complete solutions to their component handling and automation problems.
In addition, the company offers fully automated lubrication systems to ensure high performance, low maintenance installations even under the most arduous operating conditions.
Gudel's new 3D download facility is backed by a comprehensive applications engineering service and the company's customer support helpline, enabling users to quickly identify and specify the most appropriate product for their automation or precision work handling needs.
All Gudel equipment is manufactured to ISO9001 quality standards, with most items available ex-stock from the company's UK headquarters in Coventry.
