The RoboSpeed two-axis gantry system combines high accuracy with extremely rapid component acceleration and positioning.

RoboSpeed, the latest two-axis gantry system from systems integration and parts handling specialist Gudel UK, combines high accuracy with extremely rapid component acceleration and positioning Based on the company's proven high precision guideways and hardened and ground helical profile racks, the roboSpeed system has been developed specifically to meet the needs of high dynamic applications, such as those found in the sheet metalworking, packaging, palletising and automated manufacturing sectors

RoboSpeed is offered in three models for use with loads of up to 20, 50 and 125kg, respectively.

Each provides a maximum working envelope of 30 x 1.5m and achieves workpiece accelerations of up to 30m/s2.

Units also feature integrated power packs and latest generation motion control systems to provide a highly attractive and economic alternative to systems equipped with linear motors.

RoboSpeed's versatility can be further extended through a series of complementary rotary axis and wrist units.

In addition, the equipment's horizontal (y-axis) motion can be specified with belt drive for ultrasmooth operation and clean room applications.

An optional, patent pending safety brake is also available in the vertical (z) axis.

RoboSpeed can be supplied by Coventry-based Gudel both as stand-alone units, or fully integrated into turnkey solutions engineered to customers' specific workhandling and automation requirements.
