Gurley Precision Instruments' high-performance R158 rotary incremental encoder generates quadrature square waves at up to 1000,000 counts per revolution, has an optional temperature range from -40 to +100C and an optional radial/axial load of 60/40N.

A quarter-cycle gated once-per-revolution index signal or full-cycle sinusoid index is standard.

Output options include an RS422 differential line driver, current-source analogue waveforms, or voltage-source analogue waveforms.
