An increase of up to 40% in spraying power has improved the cleaning performance and reduced the processing times that can be achieved by the latest Orbit range of compact, stand-alone, rotary basket, aqueous washers produced by Guyson International.

The higher impact, more powerful spray-jet system produces more batches per hour as loaded baskets of metal components are orbited at a regulated speed for shorter pre-set periods of time.

Pumped at pressures up to 4.2 bar (60 psi) the heated water based cleaning solution is discharged through three bars of V-spray jets directly at the parts at an increased flow rate of up to 100 litres per minute.

Positioned above, below and at the side, each pressurised jet is used exclusively for the cleaning process.

No energy from the pump is expended to power the turntable, which is rotated independently by a separate geared motor.

Designed for component producers who need to ensure high quality standards every time, the range includes three models as standard, the Orbit 600, 800, and 1000 the number signifying the metric diameter of the turntable.

Batches of parts weighing between 150-200kg can be processed at one time.

Cleaning tank capacity ranges from 100-170 litres.

A modified version of the standard 800 model has been designed to process a continuous flow of single components within a cellular manufacturing operation.

Fitted with a rotary table instead of a basket, a modified lid provides a loading and unloading station from which the operator can place and lift off items, such as small cast iron pump bodies, at the rate of 1 every 30 seconds, with a maximum of 12 components being processed at any one time.
