Pressure transmitters handle high
temperatures
Gefran's Impact pressure transmitters produce a silicon on insulator (SOI) sensing element that allows a process contact membrane of up to 15 times the thickness of traditional melt pressure sensors.
Gefran's Impact fluid-free pressure transmitters are designed for use in high-temperature environments of up to 350C for applications such as melt pressure feedback on plastic extruders used in food and medical industries With no mercury or oil filling, the RoHS compliant range uses MEMS technology to produce a silicon on insulator (SOI) sensing element that allows a process contact membrane of up to 15 times the thickness of traditional melt pressure sensors
