Next generation drive covers power ratings from 0.75kW to 1.5MW and can be configured for open loop or closed loop speed feedback as well as flux vector or V/f control.
Drives and Controls 2008 will see Gefran UK showcase its new SieiDrive ADV200 AC inverter family with FOC (field oriented control).
Aimed at system builders and OEMs, the next generation range covers power ratings from 0.75kW to 1.5MW and can be configured for open loop or closed loop speed feedback as well as flux vector or V/f control.
The modular design allows up to three option cards for complete application flexibility - users can choose and combine any variety of encoder interfaces, various fieldbus interfaces and I/O expansion cards and mix drives together in any combination.
Fieldbus options include CANopen, DeviceNet, Profibus-DP as well as Gefran's own GD-Net real time fast Ethernet.
The drive includes an easy-to-use keypad with a backlit 4-line text display for direct parameter programming.
Gefran's GF-eXpress configuration tool with an integrated oscilloscope is also available for fast set-up and application commissioning.
For more advanced applications, the ADV200 includes an IEC61131-3 sequential PLC with Gefran's MDPLC advanced development software.
