Harwin can now supply the existing range of high reliability Surface Mount PCB Sockets in tape and reel packaging.
Harwin can now supply the existing range of high reliability Surface Mount PCB Sockets in tape and reel packaging.
Sockets are available on diameter 330mm (13") reels using 16mm wide embossed carrier tape.
The range comprises of three socket sizes, accepting mating pins of diameter 0.50mm, 1.00mm and 2.00mm.
A Beryllium Copper contact clip is assembled to a turned Brass outer shell, providing a high reliability test point connection.
Recommended pcb layouts are designed to optimise solder joint strength, whilst avoiding solder wicking to the contact zone.
