The LFPlus, the company's new affordable low force universal testing machine, is being unveiled in France for the first time.

This will join the powerful LRXPlus single column universal test machine and the popular Nexygen data analysis and control software, Chatillon hand held force gauges and test stands and the Davenport MFI-10 melt flow indexer for raw polymer analysis.

With Ametek testing equipment, the plastics industry can test many items such as the tensile strength of plastic strapping, the 'slip' of plastic wrapping film, the torque of bottle tops, the peel of adhesive seals, the compressive strength of plastic containers or plastic pipes, foam packaging and much more.

The new LFPlus is a high performance testing machine designed for routine force measurements up to 1kN.

It features a novel modular design so customers can build a solution to match their exact needs and budget.

Flexibility allows it to accept XLC Series loadcells or Chatillon digital force gauges as the load measuring device, which feature instant 'plug-and-play' capability.

Unlike other machines, the LFPlus is designed with a generous test bed area, deep throat and can accommodate a range of configurable work surfaces and grips.

For enhanced functionality, Ametek has also developed Nexygen FM, a new data analysis software package that is flexible and easy to use.
