Materials testing specialist Lloyd Instruments has successfully passed its transition audit from ISO9000:1994 to ISO9001:2000.

Materials testing specialist Lloyd Instruments has successfully passed its transition audit from ISO9000:1994 to ISO9001:2000 This now means that the company and its quality management system are now fully accredited to the new standard, which includes TickIT accreditation for software excellence

The new process and procedures put into place to meet the requirements of ISO9001:2000 are mutually beneficial to customers, suppliers and the company as a whole.

The new standard is based on eight quality management principles including: customer focus, involvement of people, systems approach to management, factual approach to decision making, leadership, process approach, continual improvement, and mutually beneficial supplier relationships.

All these principles have been wholeheartedly embraced by Lloyd Instruments' staff and management, and the company is particularly enthusiastic about the concepts of customer focus and continual improvement.
