Harris Springs is looking to expand by acquiring other UK spring manufacturers.

The Berkshire-based business, established in 1976, recently became the UK manufacturing presence for the Lesjofors group.

Additional spring production capability is now sought by the procurement of appropriate companies.

From Swedish headquarters, the Lesjofors Group administers one of Europe's largest spring supply operations.

Manufacturing capability exists in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Latvia, China and now the UK with the addition of Harris Springs to the group.

Harris Springs is seeking small to medium private spring manufacturing companies valued in the GBP 0.5-2 million turnover range for acquisition.

Managing Director Philip Harris explains: "Suitable companies would ideally be making some or all of compression, torsion, extension springs and wire forms for the industrial marketplace".

"Precision manufacturing techniques are especially important, preferably via CNC".

"It would also be useful if the company had standard stock repeat orders for particular customers".

Harris concludes: "We would be very pleased to hear from any business that meets the criteria".

"Interested spring manufacturers should get in touch with us so we can discuss matters further".
