Enclosure handles come in more than 60 sizes
A comprehensive range of handles is designed for use on enclosures, subracks and chassis used in the electronic, networking, broadcasting and electrical markets.
The flanged lid extends beyond the periphery of the enclosure body to provide two mounting flanges complete with four countersunk holes.
The equipment is mounted inside the enclosure in the usual way and the lid is attached using the normal four securing screws; the flanges are then used to fix the enclosure in place.
The unit cannot be opened unless it is removed from the wall, improving security and preventing casual tampering.
Alternatively, if access is required to the housed equipment, the 1591 can be factory-fitted with a pair of flanges on the base instead of having a flanged lid.
When the separate flanges are used, the lid is accessible without having to remove the enclosure from its mounting.
The 1591 range has PCB mounting slots moulded into the base section, enabling 1.6mm thick PCBs to be mounted vertically.
An adaptor kit can be fitted to allow the PCBs to be mounted horizontally if required.
