Mounts absorb vibration from miniature pumps

A Hargraves Technology product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Sep 15, 2005

The Hargraves engineering team has developed the innovative EZ Mount systems for the BTC and LTC family of miniature diaphragm pumps.

Fluidic system designers and pneumatic engineers are challenged to reduce system vibration and noise.

The Hargraves engineering team has developed the innovative EZ Mount systems for the BTC and LTC family of miniature diaphragm pumps.

The lightweight, low profile mounting system dampens system vibration and significantly reduces noise levels.

The versatile mounting feet locations facilitate simple pump installations and reduced engineering development investment.

The mounting feet can be rotated in any one of three 90-degree planes, and is designed for top down or bottom up mounting.

EZ Mount was designed to minimise weight added to pump assembly.

Approximate weights are 18g for Style A and 20g for Style B.

The unit effectively absorbs vibration to minimise the vibration transfer into instruments, and is designed to keep height and size to a minimum.

The mounts reduce engineering time as they are pre-engineered for Hargraves pumps and are available in electronic format to drop into a CAD design.
