Fieldbus motor starter for decentralised

Harting's new PowerSwitch AS-i is a Fieldbus controlled motor starter for the decentralised control of electric motors in applications such as industrial conveyor systems

The new Mini Coax+ from Harting is a miniature coaxial multi-pole connector designed to provide high-integrity signal transmission between backplanes and daughter boards at frequencies up to 4GHz.
Functions provided by PowerSwitch include forward or reverse motor control, current monitoring to prevent damage due to overload or short-circuits, thermal protection, motor braking and LED diagnostics.
