Harting has developed a new version of its Han E range of industrial connectors with increased clearance and creepage distances conforming to the new IEC664 standard.

The connector features a new insulator body which allows it to be used at voltages of up to 500V, with a current rating of 16A.

It is available in four different sizes with 6, 10, 16 or 24 contacts.

The Han E range is designed for use with AWG14 wire (2.5mm2), and features screw termination.

It fits in industry standard hoods and housings, and has built-in wire protection.

Other features include steel fixing screws and printed contact positions.
