Harting has made a number of new additions to its Han Q/8 industrial connector range, adding flexibility and higher density for motor, convertor and starter applications.

Enhancements to the range include new hoods and housings with different mounting options and a new high-density insert offering additional contacts in an extremely compact package.

New panel housings include a Pg-16 size option as well as the capability for panel fixing from inside, while new hoods include straight cable-entry, flexible conduit and cable-to-cable connection versions with Adapterlock and Adapterflex options.

The new 17-contact insert, known as Han Q17/0, is rated at 10A and 250V, and is housed within the normal Q/8 format.

It meets the UL04V0 standard, and is designed for use with standard Han D contacts.
