The Han Q 4/2 is a compact power connector designed to provide the benefits of space saving, robustness and easy installation in applications such as power distribution units, uninterruptible power supplies and motor drives.

Incorporating four power contacts rated at 40A and two signal contacts rated at 10A with crimp terminations, the new connector operates at voltages of up to 400V, and meets UL94 flammability requirements.

An important feature is the provision of "finger safe" male and female inserts with protection against accidental contact according to IEC60529, ensuring safe mating in primary-side frequency convertor connections.

The Han Q 4/2 is designed for use with the Han Compact range of plastic housings, and includes a coding facility in which a pin is used instead of the fixing screw with a choice of three different configurations.
