The Harting Industrial Outlet is designed to provide a seamless interface for secure data transmission between the office and industrial environments.

The Harting Industrial Outlet is designed to provide a seamless interface for secure data transmission between the office and industrial environments.

The new unit provides a user-friendly and future-proof solution for networking applications where office-based desktop PCs need to communicate with manufacturing equipment on the factory floor.

The well-shaped wall outlet conforms to PNO (ProfiBus Nutzerorganisation) requirements and is suitable for outdoor use.

It also offers protection to IP67 in both mated and unmated conditions.

Termination of the horizontal cable requires no special tools and facilitates the futureproof E class cabling according to ISO IEC11801:2002 for industrial applications.

The outlet can be tapped from the top or from the bottom to care for an easy integration in a factory building.

In spite of its small size, it includes two Cat6 ports for Harting's RJ Industrial push/pull: the smallest available IP67 connector for field termination.

The new unit has been developed jointly by Harting - a specialist in industrial connectors and communication components - and Krone - an expert in telecommunications and data networking.
