A new range of unshielded moulded cord sets for the M8 and M12 connectors widely used in industrial control applications has been introduced by Harting.

The cord sets are ideal for providing flexible control linkages in harsh industrial environments in areas such as machine tools and assembly plants.

They are suitable for use with drag chains.

The cord sets are available in various lengths and with different combinations of straight and angled male and female connectors designed to the IEC61076-2-101 specification.

Versions are also available with or without LEDs.

Cable insulation and overmoulding is PUR (polyurethane), and the cord sets are free from halogen and PVC.

They are very robust, offer high resistance against oil, lubricants, cooling liquids, hydrolysis and ultraviolet light, and have UL and CSA approval.

Conductor cross-section is 0.25mm2 for the M8 and 0.34mm2 for the M12 versions.
