Connector carrier is snappy about installation

A Harting product story

A new connector carrier element snaps directly onto a DIN rail to speed the installation of rectangular industrial connectors into control boxes and switch cabinets.

Harting has added a new connector carrier element which snaps directly onto a DIN rail to speed the installation of rectangular industrial connectors into control boxes and switch cabinets.

The new Han-Snap element allows connector inserts of construction sizes 6, 10, 16 and 24 to be mounted in the same unit, and features a hinged construction, which provides easy access for wiring and installation.

The connector inserts can be assembled to the Han-Snap element without using any tools, and the hinged mounting part can be screwed directly onto a mounting panel within the cabinet.

Apart from offering time and cost savings by easing handling and installation, the new Han-Snap element is also more compact than alternative techniques involving screw termination.
