New division majors on comms
Machine Building 2006 will be the first UK public outing for the Harting Technology Group's new Industrial Communications and Power Networks Division.
Machine Building 2006 (15th and 16th February at the NEC, Birmingham) will be the first UK public outing for the Harting Technology Group's new Industrial Communications and Power Networks Division The new division builds on Harting's established expertise in interconnection systems to provide a complete range of solutions for industrial communications and power networks in harsh environments

The new Han-Power T connector from Harting has been designed for the construction of a serial power bus network in machine building and industrial automation applications.
The product portfolio of the new division includes interfaces between industrial automation equipment and monitoring systems, communications within machines and control systems via a range of networking standards including Ethernet, AS-i, Profibus and CAN-Open, and links between the industrial and office computing environments.
New products on show will include Industrial Ethernet switches and hubs, "in between" products to link IP67 industrial and IP20 "office" systems, M8, M12 and RJ45 connectors and pre-assembled cables to enable the fast installation of "plug and play" industrial communication systems.
A range of complimentary power products will also be on show in order to further demonstrate how installation times for complete industrial communications and power networks can be optimised.
