Mini coaxial connector offers 4GHz performance
The new Mini Coax+ from Harting is a miniature coaxial multi-pole connector designed to provide high-integrity signal transmission between backplanes and daughter boards at frequencies up to 4GHz.
The switch supports Ethernet (10Mbit/s) and Fast Ethernet (100Mbit/s) operation, and features simple network diagnostics via integrated LED indicators at every port.
The ESC TP08 works as an unmanaged switch in the store-and-forward switching mode, and supports auto-crossing, auto-negotiation and auto-polarity.
The robust metal housing is adapted for mounting onto a 35mm "top hat" rail according to EN60715.
Other switches in the IP30 family include devices with different combinations of copper and fibre-optic interfaces, where the user can select between RJ45 and SC fibre-optic connectors solutions.
Products with fibre ports using ST-connection technology will be introduced in the near future.
