The SmartCon range of Ethernet switches from Harting overcome the traditional limitations of unmanaged industrial Ethernet switches by offering a wide range of configuration options

The SmartCon range of Ethernet switches from Harting overcome the traditional limitations of unmanaged industrial Ethernet switches by offering a wide range of configuration options Whereas most unmanaged Ethernet switches allow the user to program a limited number of settings such as auto-negotiation, port enable/disable or parallel port redundancy, the SmartCon switches offer more than 100 configuration options, including programmable functions such as 'mirroring' and redundancy between ports

All SmartCon Ethernet switches are 'plug and play' capable as standard, and can be configured from a PC, laptop or hand-held device via the front-panel USB port.

The range includes the ESC TP10 (ten copper links), ESC TP08/FX02-SC (eight copper and two fibre) and the ESC TP06/FX03-SC (six copper and three fibre).
