Ethernet switch for use in industrial environments supports both standard and Fast Ethernet, with a combination of copper and fibre-optic ports.

The ESC TP06/FX02-SC Ethernet switch from Harting has been designed for use in industrial environments and supports both standard Ethernet (10Mbit/s) and Fast Ethernet (100Mbit/s) with a combination of copper and fibre-optic ports The IP30 rated unit allows up to eight Ethernet devices to be connected: six via RJ45 copper connectors and two via SC fibre-optic ports using 100Base-FX and full duplex communication

The ESC TP06/FX02-SC can support linear, star and mixed topologies, and incorporates quick and simple network diagnostics via integrated LEDs.

The robust metal housing is only 22.5mm wide, and is ideally suited to use within industrial cabinets.

It can be mounted on to a 35mm top-hat mounting rail according to EN60715.

It will operate over extended industrial temperature ranges, and is RoHS compatible.
