Harting's industrial cabinet outlet incorporates two fully screened Category 6 RJ45 outlets, which can be connected via patch cables to active components, other nodes or end-user devices.

Harting has introduced an industrial cabinet outlet that is designed to speed the installation of industrial Ethernet cabling.

Featuring a compact form-factor, the module is especially suitable for space-saving assembly in switch cabinets or other items of network distribution equipment.

The new unit incorporates two fully screened Category 6 RJ45 outlets, which can be connected via patch cables to active components, other nodes or end-user devices.

All industrial Ethernet protocols in use are supported, whether they operate at 10 Mbit/s, 100 Mbit/s or Gbit speeds.

A particular advantage of the outlet is the fast and easy installation, which requires no special tools.

The two-part housing allows pre-configuration of the outlet on the top hat rail.

Cable connections can be made at a later stage without the need to remove the outlet from the rail.

Other benefits of the new product include neat and tidy cable routing, the ability to label each port, high packing density and user-friendly operation through the angled outlets.
