The XP2i digital pressure gauge is now available in a fully ATEX-approved version.

The XP2i digital pressure gauge is now available in a fully ATEX-approved version.

Its performance is impressive - accuracy is specified in percent of reading like a deadweight tester (+/-0.1% of reading from 20 to 100% of full scale), yet it is not affected by ambient temperature (or local gravity).

It is fully temperature compensated and can also be used to measure vacuum.

It is available in ranges from 15 to 10,000lb/in2 with selectable units of measurement; additionally, an optional dual line display allows for peak and live pressure to be shown simultaneously, making it an ideal instrument for relief valve testing.

The XP2i is an extremely rugged instrument: it is made from stainless steel, the display is protected by a hard polycarbonate lens and the circuitry is mounted in elastomer for shock resistance.

Another feature is its ease of operation, with no complicated configuration menus, and just three buttons.

Haven Automation reckons this is definitely not just another test gauge: one XP2i can replace two or three mechanical gauges, offering a saving on future calibration costs.
