Temperature assembly senses without intrusion

A Hawco product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Feb 15, 2000

Haenni has developed a temperature assembly capable of sensing the process temperature within a process line without intrusion or the possibility of contamination

Haenni, leaders in hygienic instrumentation, have developed a temperature assembly capable of sensing the process temperature within a process line without intrusion or the possibility of contamination, flow resistance, dead space and bacterial deposits.

The unique circular cross section, straight-through design ensures that only the process product temperature is sensed, not that of the pipework hardware.

Units are CIP/SIP capable and available in a variety of formats: PT100 (Class A or B); thermocouple; duplex sensor; and with flying lead or a choice of basic, low-cost intelligent transmitter or HART.

Haenni hygienic assembly applications include specific process line operation in the food and beverage, dairy products, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and paint/varnish manufacturing industries.

Hawco is the sole distributor of Haenni hygienic products in the UK.
