Field replaceable diaphragm makes sensor versatile

A Hawco product story

The sensing diaphragms in Validyne's transducers and transmitters are field replaceable, enabling a single sensor to cover a wide range of full scale pressure measurements

Offering a broad band of instrumentation covering full ranges from 0.1" water gauge to 12,500psi, the variable reluctance technology implemented by Validyne's transducers and transmitters provide high sensitivity to low pressures, fast dynamic response and rugged durable construction.

The sensing diaphragms are field replaceable, enabling a single sensor to cover a wide range of full scale pressure measurements.

Many industrial applications require sensors with the ability to monitor higher differential pressures and cope with the much higher line pressures experienced in Structural Testing, Core Sampling and Down-Hole Research.

These advantages are available in several different sensor configurations making them ideal for research applications.

The ability to sense very low pressures means that Validyne transducers are widely used for medical research in areas such as Dentistry, Human Lung Function and Veterinary programmes.

The same sensors are used in gas analysis projects such as Radon gas research and leak resting.

Hawco distributes the full range of Validyne pressure sensors together with associated signal conditioning and software programmes.
