Hawco's DAS 8000 data acquisition unit, packs 24 I/O and an integral or detachable display into a small DIN rail module.

This small module gives total flexibility to suit most applications, from a stand alone-data acquisition unit to a computer supervised networked system.

The 215 x 110mm unit accepts eight analogue inputs from industry standard temperature sensors, mV, V and 4-20mA process signals with onboard linearisation for thermocouples and RTDs, and has 16 digital I/Os, RS232 and RS485 communications.

For applications requiring data acquisition of a large number of parameters over an entire factory site or complex, up to 255 DAS 8000 units can be networked and supervised using Proasis software supplied with each data acquisition module.

Up to 2040 analogue inputs and 4080 digital I/O are configured and monitored in real time or historically using the Proasis software.

Facilities include 99 graphic/mimic screens, 99 recorder screens and 396 numeric data screens with full access to the Windows resources.

The DAS 8000 architecture enables stand alone operation, or directly connected to printer or PC for data recording, or PC managed control and monitoring in new or existing networked control systems.
