Recovery unit keeps refrigerants confined

A Hawco product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jun 19, 2008

Billed as the ideal, adaptable service tool for the busy fridge/AC engineer, the CR600ECH CPS refrigerant recovery unit keeps F-gases from the atmosphere.

The CR600ECH CPS refrigerant recovery unit - new from specialist refrigeration and air conditioning distributor, Hawco Refrigeration - comes with a 0.5hp oil-less compressor, automatic regulating valve and hoses, and is suitable for all refrigerants including R410A, but excluding HCs.

CR600ECH CPS refrigerant recovery units feature high flow rates (better than 27kg/h direct vapour, and more than 68kg/h direct liquid), run off a 230V AC supply, weigh 13.1kg and carry CE/TUV-GS approval.

Furthermore, being bright yellow they are highly visible, and they are fully serviceable.

According to Richard Smith, Technical Support Engineer at Hawco: "As it is illegal to release F-gases into the atmosphere, adequate steps need to be taken to recover any refrigeration or air-conditioning system charge when required to do".

"The CR600 is just the unit for the job because of its compatibility with R410A systems: it's the ideal, adaptable service tool for the busy fridge/AC engineer".
