A Hach Ultra Analytics product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team May 20, 2008

Cables can be manufactured free of voids with antistatic jackets, making them suitable for many ATEX applications.

Habia Cable has developed a range of cable products to meet the requirements of the ATEX Directive 94/9/EC.

The cables can be free of voids with antistatic jackets, making them suitable for many ATEX applications.

The cables are designed according to specific customer requirements and the explosion risk zone in which they will be installed.

The designs are based on Habia's range of thin wall primary insulations and flexible jacket materials.

Design requirements that can be accommodated include: low-friction antistatic cable jackets; void-free designs with silicone or thermoplastic filling material; and flame propagation characteristics according to IEC60332-1-2.
