Hayes Control Systems has reported sales growth of more than 40% in its last financial year, which ended on 31st January 2002.
Hayes Control Systems has reported sales growth of more than 40% in its last financial year, which ended on 31st January 2002.
This exceptional growth rate, which the company is set to maintain - or even exceed - in the current year, was achieved despite difficult economic conditions which saw many other companies in the control sector reporting falling revenues.
"Our success is, without doubt, a direct result of our commitment to PC-based solutions", said Stephen Hayes, founder and director of Hayes Control Systems, "and to the market-leading range of Beckhoff hardware and software products, for which we are the sole UK supplier".
"More and more companies are realising that PC-based solutions deliver the latest technology and best performance at prices which traditional PLC and motion control systems simply can't approach", continued Hayes.
"These are powerful benefits that, in these straitened times, few companies can afford to ignore.
The PC control market is, therefore, buoyant and, as probably the UK's most experienced supplier of PC-based systems, we are in exactly the right position to benefit from that buoyancy".
The key element in Hayes Control Systems' product portfolio is Beckhoff's innovative TwinCAT software package.
This runs in conjunction with Windows on standard, inexpensive PC hardware to provide powerful, dependable and versatile PLC and motion control functionality.
The package allows users to work with standard IEC 61131-3 compliant programming languages, avoiding the need for existing PLC users to learn new software techniques.
All the hardware and software supplied by Hayes Control Systems is backed by expert technical support which, according to the customer's requirements, can include training, technical assistance provided via the telephone or e-mail, and a full range of on-site services.
