Haydon Kerk Motion Solutions, a manufacturer of linear motion products, has introduced its G4 Canstack Linear Actuator.
The first actuator to be released in the product line is the 25mm diameter, with a design that uses teeth geometry along with high-energy neodymium magnets.
The G4 contains custom-engineered plastics, an over-sized spline and larger bearings for greater rotor support and higher axial-load capability.
It provides high linear force-to-size ratios and is suitable for precision linear motion in a variety of applications including medical equipment, barcode-scanning devices, printing equipment, laboratory instrumentation and other mechanisms requiring high force in a small package.
There are three configurations available as with other Haydon stepper motor linear actuators: Captive, Non-Captive, and External Linear.
