FEA software tests motorbike quality
KTM Sportmotorcycle is using Abaqus software to evaluate thermal behaviour, noise and vibration, structural performance of assemblies fatigue on its Superbike RC8.
KTM Sportmotorcycle is using Abaqus Unified finite element analysis (FEA) software from Simulia to evaluate product performance and reliability Gunther Hager, R and D Teamleader Engine Structural Analysis, KTM Sportmotorcycle said "For the launch of our new Superbike RC8, which will be available to the market in the spring of 2008, we are using Abaqus software to evaluate thermal behaviour, noise and vibration, structural performance of assemblies and stress-based fatigue"
