HBL Nife has recently introduced its 3rd-generation (fibre electrode) NiCad technology, making it the only company in the world to offer all three generations of NiCad technology, namely nickel cadmium pocket plate, nickel cadmium sintered plate and nickel cadmium fibre plate Each technology has advantages in techno economic choice for a particular application
The fibre electrode technology is licensed from Daug, a joint venture of Daimler Benz and Volkswagen.
NiCad fibre electrode batteries are designed to give different performance rates such as low, medium, high and extra high to suit customer requirements.
The batteries meet a wide range of capacity requirements from 6 to 1500Ah and provide improved performance in various applications like UPS systems, power stations, offshore power requirements, automated guided vehicles, alternate energy systems, emergency lighting systems etc.
