All models in the Z30 and Z4A series of force transducers from HBM now meet the highest precision criteria possible to meet increased industrial demand.
All models in the Z30 and Z4A series of force transducers from HBM now meet the highest precision criteria possible to meet increased industrial demand.
Previously the transducers were available with two different accuracy classes, standard and high accuracy, now they are only available with high accuracy.
Although technical features have been enhanced the price of the transducers remains unaltered.
In future, the force transducers will conform to the highest accuracy class of 00 as determined by the European standards EN10002-3 and ISO376, respectively.
The Z30 and Z4A transducers are supplied with a calibration certificate issued on behalf of the German testing institute, Deutscher Kalibrierdienst (DKD).
HBM calibrates its force transducers in its own laboratory, which has been accredited as a DKD laboratory for the past 25 years.
Force transducers providing a high degree of accuracy are increasingly being demanded for industrial applications.
They are often fitted for quality assurance and to provide traceability to ISO9001.
In material testing applications, they are used to calibrate existing force measuring systems.
HBM provides its customers with complete measuring chains.
These include the force transducer and its force application parts as well as the matching precision amplifier.
The Z30 and Z4A transducers provide a nominal (rated) force range from 50N to 500kN.
