HBM's WA series of displacement transducers has been extended with the addition of a 2mm measuring range.

Performance has been upgraded by including an optional voltage output while the innovative quarter bridge circuit allows short lengths.

The transducers have extremely good temperature stability.

Including the 2mm measuring range, the WA series now comprises eight measuring lengths (2, 10, 20, 50,100, 200, 300 and 500mm).

The series provides a number of options including probe and plunger versions, cable and plug connections, and various temperature ranges and accuracies.

The integral WA electronics provides an optional voltage output.

The WA electronics enclosure is waterproof and can be positioned according to the customer's requirements.

This avoids problems associated with cramped mounting conditions.

Any cable length needed can be chosen between the transducer and the electronics and between the electronics and the evaluation device.

All the usual evaluation devices, PLCs and process indicators can process the standard output signal of 0.5 V to 10 V.

The voltage output enables connection to the latest 8-channel modules on HBM's MGCplus amplifier system.

Eight WA displacement transducers can be connected directly to a connector plate.

The displacement transducer electronics are supplied directly from the measuring amplifier.
