Six month payback is expected following the installation of HBM monitoring equipment for the press-fit routines in a new type of automated production line.
The basic system provides four measurement channels with 600Hz carrier frequency and 16 digital inputs/outputs.
It is fitted with a parallel port for connection to a PC and a single RS232C interface to allow expansion of up to four additional SR30 600Hz modules or with SR01 DC voltage modules for active encoders, thermocouples and resistance thermometers.
The system has been designed for strain gages using all types of Wheatstone bridge circuit.
For connecting single strain gages using three-wire technique, each channel has been fitted with three selectable completion resistors (120, 350 and 700ohm).
A shunt resistor can be connected to create defined detuning to enable the sensitivity loss to be determined.
The Spider8-30 can be used with Spider8 models to build up a system with up to 64 channels by connecting the systems in cascade.
The Spider8-30 is also available for mobile use as an eight- or 16-channel version called the Spider8-Mobil. Request a free brochure from HBM UK ...
