The ELC series of hermetically sealed and IP68 protected load cells is designed for the agrarian market.

The ELC series of hermetically sealed and IP68 protected load cells is designed for the agrarian market.

A feature of the load cells is their distinctive red connecting cables.

The cable sheathing uses a material with an unpleasant taste that is stronger than normal to make the cables fully resistant to attacks from mice or rats.

The load cells are very robust and can be used under extreme conditions such as those met when weighing animals during animal breeding programs.

The ELC load cells have a very low profile and can be placed easily in a wide range of positions, which is an advantage when fitting to existing weighbridges.

The load cells are made completely from stainless steel and do not need any extra protection against agricultural environments.

They are multi-functional and have been designed to be easy-to-use.

The range includes models with nominal loads of 2.2 and 4.4t for the heavier loads increasingly met in agrarian industries.

The ELC load cell completes HBM's series of measuring solutions for the agrarian industry by providing cost-efficient solutions for applications that do not require statutory calibration.
