HBM has introduced both standard and stainless steel versions of its junction boxes for interconnecting up to eight strain gauge load cells.

The junction box is fitted with an integral resistor network enabling the unit to support HBM's corner load adjustment in a scale.

The company said that users can now get perfect results in three simple steps by noting the value of the load scale corners, then determining the correction value from the accompanying diagram before activating the adjustment resistor.

Once those steps have been completed the junction box is ready for use.

The junction boxes also feature metric M12 EMC cable glands for cable diameters of 4.0-6.5mm and two M16 EMC glands for cable diameters of 5-9mm.

The glands use HBM's screening design and are 100% EMC-proof according to EN45501.
