Display terminal aids production monitoring

A HBM UK product story

The DT85 display terminal aids production monitoring by showing the current status of the process in a simple format on an easily seen quarter-VGA display on site.

HBM has launched the DT85 display terminal to aid production monitoring by showing the current status of the process in a simple format on an easily seen quarter-VGA display on site.

Any defect in the processing machinery is indicated immediately, so that corrective action can be quickly taken.

Typical applications for the DT85 are press fitting, riveting, and operational checks.

The DT85 is designed to work with HBM's twin-channel measuring amplifier, MP85, with processes from up to 32 measuring amplifiers displayed on the DT85 display terminal via CANbus.

Designed on a modular concept, the DT85 reduces the installation costs as each amplifier does not need its own display.

The DT85 display is easy to connect, even during continuous operation and comes ready to measure.

It does not need any additional voltage supply.

The DT85 is fitted with function keys and an encoder wheel for quickly changing from one display window to another.

The results can be displayed as a plot, with up to nine tolerance windows, or as numerical values if needed.

Additional statistics windows are available to give an overview of the production process over a longer period.
