A new catalogue gives users full details of a comprehensive range of strain gauges.
HBM has published a new catalogue that gives users full details of its comprehensive range of strain gauges.
Called "Strain gauges and accessories", the catalogue also gives details of typical strain gauge designs, versions and the important technical features.
Included in the catalogue are details of the latest geometries for the Y series of strain gauges.
The Y series comprises all HBM strain gauges intended particularly for experimental stress analysis.
Strain gauges from this series are robust and easy to use.
The catalogue covers double strain gauges with integrated solder tabs, two- and three-grid rosettes with integrated solder tabs with strain relief, and strain gauges with leads and connection cables.
All of the different connection configurations that are now available for all strain gauge configurations for experimental stress analyses are covered in the catalogue.
Strain gauges with connection cables are used where soldering of the strain gauge is either not possible or very difficult.
Connection cables are available in different three versions, two-, three- and four-wire, and a wide range of lengths from 0.5 to 10m.
The comprehensive range of products included in the catalogue also gives details of HBM's new hole drilling rosettes with insulated Teflon wires and connection cables.
