The brochure covers a wide range of typical applications such as combustion engines, gears/differentials, axles, and brakes and is intended for manufacturers, suppliers and system integrators.
Torque is a critical mechanical quantity for test stand technology, the monitoring of operation and processes, quality assurance, and research and development.
Examples in the brochure cover different types of test stands including performance, function and optimisation test stands.
Torque measurement in different industries such as automotive, offshore, aerospace, shipbuilding, motor manufacture, and drive and conveyor technology.
HBM is the worldwide leader for transducers for inline and reaction torque measurement with nominal (rated) torques ranging from +/-0.1 to +/-80,000Nm.
The company has different designs for measurement of nonrotating components and on rotating systems with permissible continuous speeds up to 40,000rev/min.
